The concepts  I have selected:

ERICH MENDELSOHN

1. Non-conformer - refused to conform to trends of the time.
2. Visionary drawings, not intellectual.
3. Used no historical precedents in formulating designs, instead from expressionistic sketches and romantic symbolism.

NERI OXMAN

1. Mass production vs mass customization.
2. Nature does not offer fomrs, but processes... "emergence."
3. Nature designs for the multifunctional.
